Magazine tables of contents or content pages vary in format, but generally have the following design elements:

  • Minimal design: emphasizes simplicity, clean typography, lots of white space, and clean lines. Magazines like “The New Yorker” use it.

  • Visual Heavy: As seen in publications such as “National Geographic”, this style draws readers' attention visually and through images.

  • Grid Layout: This technique, often seen in publications like “Wired”, organizes the order of content, ensuring a clear hierarchy and easy navigation.

  • Artistic design: uses imaginative and bold design elements, often with original fonts or drawings, as seen in “Vogue”.

The incorporation of such designs supports reader engagement and represents the identity of the magazine.
