Selected/Rejected Images

Before I decided on the final images I was going to use for my magazine, I went through a selection process. I selected some images and rejected some on a strict basis. Here are a few examples and what went on in my mind as I rejected these images.

this image was rejected due to improper framing, unappealing expressions of the model, and unattractive

blocking

I picked the selected image over the other due to the flame being better, and the expressions of the model not looking like the model is sleeping. and the overall aesthetic of the image

As the image had to be fitted into a smaller, narrower space the selected image seemed like the better option. Plus the makeup and skin texture of the model in the other picture looks weird
