First and foremost, I would like to provide you with a brief overview of the Media Studies curriculum content (As Level). Media Studies is the academic study of various media platforms and how they work. This subject includes studies in advertising, marketing, television, film production, magazines, radio, and print media. This contributes to the development of technical abilities in actual life.

There are two major components of As level Media Studies: Foundation Portfolio and Media texts and contexts.

The first component gives you the option of doing either a magazine task or a film opening sequence. The candidate must create a finished product and demonstrate evidence of work on an internet blog. He also has to reflect on the job process.

The second component is a film analysis task in which the candidate must evaluate a brief sequence of a movie and explain the techniques and approaches used by the filmmakers.
